JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your mission will be to lead the design and development of the backend systems that power the Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) framework for our solutions. You will focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient APIs and services that support the end-to-end ML lifecycle. This includes integrating key applications into the architecture, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring of machine learning models. Working closely with the MLOps and data engineering teams, your efforts will ensure that the ML pipelines are well-supported, robust, and ready for production, while driving innovation in backend systems to support AI-driven solutions.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Design and develop scalable APIs, focusing on best practices for security, testing, and monitoring.

• Lead the development of our ML service archetype and package key applications such as MLFlow and Airflow.

• Adapt current product data science services and develop new ones. • Collaborate with the team to ensure solutions align with architectural standards and frameworks.

• Drive innovation by implementing efficient, reliable, and scalable backend systems.

What will make you successful in this position?

• Educational requirements: Computer Engineer
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Python developer, with a focus on backend development
• Strong expertise in API development using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest), monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and API security best practices.
• Background in architecture and scalable system design.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of data science workflows and ML lifecycle.
