🚀 What will your mission be?
The main mission of the position is to lead and collaborate as a specialist in projects related to the integrated water cycle, with a particular focus on water distribution network modeling.
The role will involve the implementation of solutions for the water sector that require hydraulic network modeling, working alongside a multidisciplinary team composed of IT experts, software developers, data scientists, engineers, and business professionals.
On a day-to-day basis, the candidate will be integrated into a team of hydraulic modelers to deliver the defined project outputs. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow within the company, becoming involved in software design, supporting business development activities, and implementing solutions at real scale.
💼 Your responsibilities will include:
Participate in the development and implementation of intelligent control solutions for the water sector, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of IT experts, programmers, data scientists, engineers, and business professionals.
On a day-to-day basis, coordinate a team of hydraulic modelers to meet the defined deliverables. We are looking for someone who wants to grow within the company, getting involved in software design, supporting business development activities, and implementing solutions at real scale.
🌟 What will make you stand out?
Engineering degrees such as Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), Public Works, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, among others. Degrees in Architecture, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, among others, will also be considered.
Knowledge of the integrated water cycle and its management.
Master’s degrees, Postgraduate programs and/or specific courses: Water distribution and/or wastewater networks, drinking water and/or wastewater treatment plants, water management, among others.
High level of English.
Architecture and resources required for the development of a software tool, including the definition of functions for each stage and resource.
Hydraulic modeling software for drinking water networks (EPANET or similar).
Water quality modeling software for water supply networks.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Strong knowledge of control strategies applied in the water sector.
Programming knowledge will be valued.
Experience in managing international projects.
